<![CDATA[Hi, my name is Fraser King and I'm 29 years old. I live in Glasgow and currently unemployed. I enjoy music, computers, football, badminton, clubs and pubs. I love music from the 70s 80s 90s, especially the 80s. In this website there's pictures of myself in the gallery. Websites I use are in the links area. Games and demos I have programmed are free to have in the download area. I use computers for the Internet, chatting, programming and lots of other things. I met my girlfriend Nina through the internet chatting. My favourite websites are ebay and Sunday League. I started programming in Turbo Pascal about 6 years ago. Since then I have made a number of programs. My best programs I have made are Resarf, Batty and Football Manager 2000. I have programmed a total of 25,000 lines of code since I started. I have other programs but I decided not to put them on the site. I've not managed to completely finish the programs. I hope to finish them in a couple of years... The source code can be found in the directories... Requirements: Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP, At least a Pentium 75, They run in Ms-Dos and all PC's have Ms-Dos installed... The Amiga programs are in ADF format. They run on Amiga Forever emulator. Send me an email if you want the files in DMS or LHA format. So you can run them on a real amiga... Instructions: Press a link to download. When the download box comes up choose save to computer. Choose the directory where you want the file saved. Once downloaded to hard drive, unzip the file. Then run the .exe program (Ms-Dos programs)... Ms-Dos: The Batty Compilation (341k): A compilation of all my Ms-Dos programs... Treasure Crypt (105k): A clone of the multi-player game treasure crypt of games domain. Sadly games domain was closed down, and I decided to make a similar game... Batty (35k): A clone of the classic game Breakout... Resarf The Multi-Scrolling Text Demo (47k): Very fast and cool demo... Football Manager 2000 (70k): Remake of a famous spectrum game... Draw (20k): Ms-Dos graphics editor. The graphics in the Ms-Dos games were designed with this program... Sound (9k): Ms-Dos music program. You can record tunes using the internal speaker... Amiga: Doop Remix (573k): Demo programmed in machine code. With a remix of a song which reached no 1 in 1994 called doop... Shell Professional (1.95MB): Compilation of Amiga utilities. Programs include Filemaster 3.0, Protracker, PC task. Requires Amiga 1200... Shell Amateur (633k): A smaller and 1 disk version of Shell Professional... Baker Street demo (633k): This demo has 3 sampled songs. Baker street, New order and War of the worlds... Please note the Ms-Dos programs are not finished yet... This is me at Christmas dinner. This help is for the Ms-Dos games... General: I still have a lot of programming to do in Treasure Crypt and the game is incomplete. Batty, Resarf and Football Manager 2000 are nearly finished and they can be played. If a program stops working then re-install the program. To do this, unzip the original file from this website. Delete everything in the games directory and copy the new files into the directory. Important: These programs are made for Ms-Dos Full-screen. If any of the games are running and its in a window. Press right mouse button on the file i.e. Resarf.exe or Resarf.pif and choose properties. Find where it says Full-screen and tick the box. Then press apply. Another way to change to Full-screen is to press Alt + Return... Controls: I haven't added much help in the programs yet. So I'll mention these things. The Ms-Dos games all use the cursor keys for the controls (Left, Right, Up, Down arrow keys). You don't need a joystick or mouse to use them. Other keys used in my programs are the Return key, Spacebar, Escape key, Tab key and the Delete key. When playing Batty use the Ctrl + Left and Ctrl + Right keys to move the bat, instead of Left and Right keys. In Treasure Crypt pressing the letter 'x' quits the game... Problems with speed: My programs use 100% of the CPU and this could cause problems in Ms-Dos and Windows. Important: Its not advisable to multi-task while using these programs ex. doing something else in Windows while my games are running. If you want to do something on Windows then close my programs because it could slow Windows down. If there's problems with the speed of any of my programs. Try the following things to see if it fixes it... Close all the windows on the desktop. Especially large applications. Stop downloading or uploading from the internet. Only have 1 of my programs running at the one time. Press Alt + Return to take you to Windows and press Alt + Return again to take you back into the game. Each game has speed settings. Change the settings if it's too slow or too fast. If this doesn't fix the problem with the speed then it could be because computer's have different CPU speeds. If this is the case I would have to change the code of the games to fix this. Playing music on a program like Windows Media Player can sometimes cause the sound of the music to break. This can happen when the song has a high bit rate. Playing songs with a lower bit rate or speeding up my programs can fix this... Bugs: There are lots of minor bugs in the programs which are still to be fixed. These bugs here are more important. Don't use the format menu in Resarf because it can stop Resarf from starting. I haven't finished programming it and there's still bugs. Small problem with the fitness and sponsors in Football Manager 2000. The Hi-score table in Treasure Crypt might be too fast or too slow on some computers... They won the league, 5th in the friendly table and 14th in the managers table. Winners of the Super Cup and runners-up in the World Cup and Beer Cup... When I started playing Sunday League I began at the very bottom division. I've been promoted every season (9 seasons) and I just have get promoted the next 2 seasons to achieve this...
